Blogging Advent - Friday 8th

Not quite as planned. I had intended making gingerbread and then Puggle was going to help me roll it out and cut the biscuits.

Got the butter, golden syrup and sugar creamed, the eggs added, and went to begin adding the dry ingredients.

Flour is fine, but I only have half the ginger I need! If it were anything else, I'd replace the rest with a mix of spices, but this is gingerbread... And I didn't want to go out today.

I decided to switch today and Sunday... so instead, we read Room for a Little One by Martin Waddell.

I'm off to make sure I have all the ingredients/equipment for the coming week. (And we still need to make the Christmas cake!)
