Candlemas
I've just seen a reference to Candlemas (2nd February) that says it's one of two days where it is traditional to take down the Christmas tree... so we're not too late!
I don't think I'll leave it that long though...

I remember from somewhere (possibly a fevered dream, but hey) that Candlemas was when you took down the christmas decorations that were still up, and then burnt them all. I like that idea. It also cleanses things so that you can make more for next year!
